Dorben Polytechnic Delegates Attend Erasmus Scholarships Fair

On Thursday, 4th July 2024, Dorben Polytechnic Abuja proudly joined other prominent delegates at the European Union/Erasmus+ Scholarships Foundation event hosted at the Ladi Kwali Complex Hall, Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotels & Towers) Abuja. Organized by the European Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS in collaboration with Erasmus+ Scholarships Worldwide, the pre-departure orientation and Study in Europe Fair aimed to enlighten Nigerian students about the opportunities available through the Erasmus+ Programme.

Erasmus+ Scholarship, a flagship initiative of the European Union in Education, Training, Youth, and Sports (2021-2027), offers prestigious international master's programs jointly designed and delivered by multiple higher education institutions across different countries. The event featured the awarding of full scholarships to top-ranking Nigerian students, covering participation costs, visa expenses, living allowances, and more.

Notably, the occasion also hosted a "Study in Europe" fair, facilitating networking opportunities among Erasmus+ awardees, alumni, and potential future scholars. This year's event marked the departure of approximately one hundred Nigerian students to Europe for joint master's degree programs across various fields of study.
