Five Buccaneer and three Aye cultists, all students of Osun State University, Okuku campus, have been arrested by the Osun State Police for terrorizing fellow students in hostels within the Okuku area.

The operation led to the recovery of several weapons, including an English-made pump-action gun with one live cartridge, a locally made cut-to-size single-barrel short gun, two battle axes, and one cutlass.

The arrested suspects are Jubril Abdulazeez, Etinosa Oluwaseun, Okunlola Oluwaseun, Qudus Adekunle, Towobola Mohammed, Samuel Bot, Hammed Olarewaju, and Adebisi Usman.

They have been handed over to the OC Anti-Cultism Squad, Osun State Police Command, along with the recovered exhibits, for further investigation.
