EKSU Announces NELFUND Disbursement for Students

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has formally informed students that the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has commenced disbursement of funds for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the notice, the first batch of disbursements has already been completed. Students who registered around December 2025 and January 2026 are advised to log into the NELFUND portal to verify their status. Those who have received their funds are also expected to visit the NELFUND office on campus for further guidance where necessary.

The SUG noted that subsequent batches are currently being processed and will be disbursed shortly. Students who have received their funds and completed their school payment are urged to proceed with course registration immediately, as the registration window is closing soon.

Furthermore, students yet to register for NELFUND are strongly encouraged to do so promptly, as early registration increases the likelihood of quicker disbursement.

The university community is advised to treat this information with urgency.
