Elizade University is set to host its 8th and 9th combined Convocation Ceremonies on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the EU Event Centre. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of students from the 2023 and 2024 academic years, with awards of First Degrees, Postgraduate Degrees, and the presentation of various prizes.

Elizade University is set to host its 8th and 9th combined Convocation Ceremonies on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the EU Event Centre. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of students from the 2023 and 2024 academic years, with awards of First Degrees, Postgraduate Degrees, and the presentation of various prizes.

The university has outlined the convocation fees for all graduating students as follows:

  • First Degree: ₦120,000
  • Postgraduates (MSc, MA, PGD): ₦150,000
  • Ph.D (with Convocation Gown): ₦250,000
  • Ph.D (without Convocation Gown): ₦200,000

All payments must be made on or before September 30, 2024, to the designated Wema Bank account (Account Name: Elizade University, Account Number: 0122193370).

The highlight of the convocation will be the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees on two distinguished individuals: Mrs. Folorunso Alakija and Chief Tunde Afolabi, who will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to society. The convocation lecture, titled "Nigeria and I, What Can I Do?", will be delivered by His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, CON, former Minister of Works and Housing of Nigeria.

Ahead of the main ceremony, a series of events has been lined up from October 30 to November 10, 2024, including a press briefing, sporting activities, interdenominational services, and environmental awareness initiatives.
