Enugu First Lady Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah attended a Health Day event at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, organized by the Maternal and Child Health Postgraduate Unit. The event, themed “Parents: Active Role Players in Disease Prevention,” featured a keynote by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Daniel Nwachukwu and discussions on disease prevention strategies.

The First Lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, was the special guest of honor at a Health Day event held on the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC) on Wednesday, 11th September 2024. The event, organized by the Maternal and Child Health Postgraduate Unit of the Department of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences & Technology, focused on the theme, "Parents: Active Role Players in Disease Prevention."

Prof. Daniel Nwachukwu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UNEC, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the critical role of parents in fostering healthy habits and preventive measures within families. The event included interactive discussions where experts shared strategies for disease prevention in maternal and child health.

Chinweuba, Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Nneka E. Ubochi, Coordinator of the Maternal and Child Health Nursing Unit.
