The Independent Electoral Committee of the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria Alumni Association has released the election timeline for the 2024 elections. The timeline outlines key dates for the electoral process, ensuring a smooth and transparent election.
The sale of nomination forms is currently ongoing and will close on December 23, 2024. Completed forms must be submitted with all necessary documents attached between December 25 and 27, 2024.
The screening of candidates will take place on January 2 and 3, 2025. Only candidates who pass the screening process will be cleared to contest. The campaign period will run from January 3 to 10, 2025, during which candidates must adhere to campaign guidelines and refrain from misconduct.
The election will be held on January 11, 2025. Polling stations will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, after which vote counting will commence immediately. Eligible voters must present valid identification to participate.
