In a remarkable display of academic brilliance, LeAnna Roberts, a 16-year-old prodigy from Tuscaloosa, United States, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by graduating from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree at the tender age of 16.
LeAnna Roberts, who attended Central High School and Shelton State Community College through dual enrollment, earned her associate degree at the age of 15. Undeterred by her youth, she seamlessly transitioned to pursue a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Alabama.

Roberts, who graduated from both high school and community college on the same day, emphasized that age should not limit one's aspirations. Encouraging fellow high school students to explore dual enrollment, she expressed her excitement and pride in making her family proud.
"Earning a bachelor’s degree at the age of 16 is not an easy feat. Roberts says she is extremely excited and happy to make her family proud," the report stated. In an Instagram post celebrating her achievement, Roberts expressed gratitude for the support system that accompanied her journey.
Now equipped with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, Roberts is already setting her sights on the next academic frontier – a Master’s degree. In her Instagram post, she declared, "Time for the master’s degree! Roll Tide."
Roberts plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through the STEM Path to MBA program, with her expected graduation in May 2024. Looking beyond academic accolades, her career aspirations are deeply rooted in addressing healthcare disparities, particularly in underserved rural communities.
"My overall goal is just to improve healthcare disparities and inequities that we see, especially with underserved communities. So being able to impact that is my long-term goal as a physician,” explained Roberts.
