Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Secures NELFUND Application Extension; Announces Fee Refund Timeline

The Management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) has announced a successful extension for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) application window, providing a vital opportunity for the incoming student intake.

Under the new arrangement, the institution will upload the comprehensive list of eligible students to the NELFUND portal upon the official commencement of the new academic session in February 2026. Consequently, all newly admitted students are advised to wait until the session begins to process their applications via the updated portal.

In a related development, the Polytechnic confirmed that the refund process for students whose school fees were successfully disbursed by NELFUND during the previous session is nearing completion. The administration expects these refunds to be finalized and credited to the respective students by January 2026.
