Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) Free, Fair and Credible Election; Federal Polytechnic Ekowe Bayelsa State Electes New Executives For The Next Four Years.

The Non-academics Staff Union Of Educational And Associated Institutions ( NASU), Federal Polytechnic Ekowe Bayelsa State, have elected a new executives for the next four years.

Comrade Etebu Ebifiye Prosper has emerged as the Chairman, Comrade Igbunu Woyengitaripredo was elected as the Secretary, while Comrade Tebeda Eberegansi was elected as the Treasurer. Others who were elected as Ex-official are; Ekiseh Anthony, Ogoro Paulina, Titus Ayebabarakumo, Purple John Ebikobowei, and Ogiriki Michael Tari.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Etebu Ebifiye Prosper, promised to work for the welfares and progress of NASU members and to improve on the achievements of his predecessor. He assured the union members of his commitments to the oaths of office he swore to and to work assiduously for the upliftment of the union.

In his remarks, the outgoing Chairman Engr. Nelson Ebimie Nengiyenfa Collins MNSE MNICE, thanked the union members for their co-operation and commitments to the success of his eight years tenure. He however listed his achievements and challenges while charging members to elects credible and experienced comrades to pilots the affairs of the union to a greater heights.

The National and States bodies of NASU were well represented and they conducted free, fair and credible elections which was acceptable by the union members.
