Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe Announces Admission for Nursing Programmes

The Institute of Health Sciences at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe has opened applications for admission into its College of Nursing Sciences (CONS) for the 2024/2025 academic session. The programmes available include the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in General Nursing, which spans four years—two years each for ND and HND.

To be eligible, candidates must have a JAMB score of at least 150, be at least 16 years old, possess five credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO or NABTEB) including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and be medically fit. It is important to note that candidates cannot combine NABTEB results with WAEC or NECO.

Application forms are available from Friday, 16th August 2024, and can be obtained at the Office of the Registrar at the College of Nursing Sciences or through the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe website after paying a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira.
