Federal University Birnin Kebbi Announces Maiden Combined Convocation Ceremonies
All graduands must assemble at the Convocation Arena by 9:00 AM, as entry will be closed thereafter
Binye-lum The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Prof. Muhammad Zaiyan Umar, invites the 2017 to 2022 graduands, their parents, guardians, and the general public to the inaugural combined convocation ceremonies, scheduled for October 9th to 12th, 2024.
The ceremonies will include various activities at designated venues as follows:
- October 9, 2024: Vice Chancellor's Press Conference, Student Debate, Novelty Football Match
- October 10, 2024: Pre-Convocation Lecture by His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Executive Governor of Imo State
- October 11, 2024: Chancellor's Dinner
- October 12, 2024: Main Convocation Ceremony featuring the investiture of the Chancellor, award of Bachelor's degrees, honorary degree awards, and the induction of graduands into the university's alumni.
Graduands are required to pay N3,000 for the academic gown and an additional N10,000 for the Order of Proceedings. Academic gowns can be collected from Faculty Officers starting October 7th, 2024, and must be returned between October 14th and 22nd, 2024.
All graduands must assemble at the Convocation Arena by 9:00 AM, as entry will be closed thereafter. Security checks will be conducted on all vehicles entering the university, and hawking near the Convocation Arena is prohibited.
