Federal University Dutsin-Ma Announces SIWES Placement for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Directorate of University SIWES at Federal University Dutsin-Ma has released an internal memo requesting prospective SIWES students to source for placement from reputable organizations.

The memo, signed by Ag. Director, University SIWES, Dr. Abdulaziz B. Kutawa, informs students that they are required to visit the E-SIWES Platform to download and process the SIWES Placement Letter.

The SIWES training program is scheduled to commence on May 5, 2025, and will run for 24 weeks, ending on October 10, 2025. Students are advised to secure placement in organizations with at least five students per state.

The Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is a mandatory program designed to provide students with practical work experience in their chosen fields. The program aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, preparing students for the workforce after graduation.¹

Students are required to submit their letters of acceptance to their departments immediately after securing placement, for onward submission to the Directorate.
