Federal University Dutsin-Ma Announces Urgent Scholarship Screening for Bichi LGA Students

The National Association of Kano State Students (NAKSS), Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) Chapter, has issued an urgent notification regarding the scholarship screening exercise for students from the Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.

The screening is being conducted by the Education Committee on Scholarship of Hon. Abba Bichi, which is currently on-site at the university to evaluate eligible candidates. Hon. Abba Bichi, the member representing Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, has a longstanding commitment to educational empowerment, including a history of sponsoring hundreds of constituents for local and foreign scholarships.

All concerned students are directed to report for the exercise as follows:

Venue: CBT Center, FUDMA Take-Off Campus

Dates: Wednesday, 11th February – Thursday, 12th February 2026

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily

Eligible students must arrive within the stipulated timeframe and present all necessary credentials and relevant documents for verification.

In a statement signed by the NAKSS FUDMA Executive President, Comrd. Abdullahi Khamis Zarewa, the notice was categorized as urgent, urging wide circulation to ensure no eligible Bichi student misses this opportunity. This initiative aligns with Hon. Bichi's ongoing efforts to reduce financial barriers to education for his constituents, which have previously included paying school fees for hundreds of students across various Nigerian universities.
