Federal University of Education, Zaria Establishes New Media Control Unit

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, has approved the establishment of the New Media Control and Supervision Unit. Mal. Halilu Danladi Hassan has been appointed as the unit's first head, effective August 11, 2025.

The unit will be responsible for monitoring and regulating official and unofficial social media platforms associated with the university. Its primary goal is to ensure that digital communications are professional and consistent with established policies.

The unit's establishment reflects the university's commitment to maintaining a professional online presence and ensuring that digital interactions align with its mission and values.
