Federal University of Education Zaria Leadership Attends International Research Conference in Uganda

The management and staff of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, participated in the International Research and Development Conference (IRCeC) 2024, held at Kampala International University in Uganda. The six-day event, themed "Partnership for Sustainable Development: Addressing Challenges in Africa," focused on fostering collaborations to tackle the continent's pressing issues.
Notable attendees from the university included Mal. Shehu Iya Saidu, Acting Registrar; Dr. Haliru Musa, Acting Director of Academic and Planning; Dr. Muhammad Sani Uwaisu (Garkuwan Kudun Zazzau), Former Bursar; and Comr. Ubale I. Alhaji, COEASSU Chairman. Other delegates were Mal. Tijjani Ahmed, Acting Librarian; QS. Hassan Buba, Director of Works; Engr. Sanusi Audi, Director of Maintenance; and Comr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SSUCOEN Chairman.
Additional participants included Alh. Garba A. Dahiru, Director of Internal Audit; Dr. Sani Ibrahim Mamman, TETFUND Desk Officer; Mal. Abubakar Haruna, Acting Head of the Procurement Unit; and Mal. Ibrahim Muhammad (Auwal), Academic Secretary. Mal. Idris Mohammed, P.A. to the Acting Vice Chancellor, and Prof. K. H. Danja, Dean of the School of Vocational and Technical Education, also represented the institution.
The conference provided a platform for the university's leadership to engage in discussions on sustainable development and strengthen partnerships with other institutions across Africa.
