Federal University Wukari, located at 200 Katsina-Ala Road, Wukari, Taraba State, has announced proactive security measures in response to planned nationwide protests set to begin on August 1, 2024. The announcement, made by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Jude Sammani Rabo, highlights concerns over potential disruptions and the university's commitment to maintaining peace and safety.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that while the protests are intended to be peaceful, there is uncertainty about whether they will remain so.
