First Lady Grants Scholarships and Laptops to Rescued Katsina Varsity Students

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, welcomed four of the five students from Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, who were rescued from kidnappers, to the State House. Emphasizing the importance of education in combating terrorism and criminality, Tinubu awarded each girl a scholarship grant of N1m and a brand-new laptop. Additionally, the Federal Government pledged N2m to the parents of each rescued girl and N1m to the Vice Chancellor of the university.
