Foundation Offers Scholarship to 100 Pupils in Onitsha
The philanthropic gesture was marked by a launching ceremony held at the school premises on Friday, graced by the State Governor’s wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo, represented by Pharm. Chisom Uchem, the Executive Secretary of Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (APHDA).
Onyinyeomachukwu Empowerment Foundation has extended a helping hand to the education sector by offering scholarships to one hundred indigent pupils of Living Christ Nursery and Primary School in Onitsha, Anambra State. Alongside the scholarships, the foundation generously donated essential health materials to 700 pupils at the school.

Amb. Onyinye Gift Uwaechia, the founder of the foundation, expressed her commitment to supporting underprivileged children in their educational pursuits. She emphasized the importance of empowering these children, especially those lacking support systems, to help them achieve their dreams.
The foundation's initiatives extend beyond Anambra State, aligning with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Since its establishment in 2016, the foundation has aimed to positively impact communities and empower individuals across tribes and states.
Commending the foundation's efforts, Hon. Patrick Agha-Mba, the State Commissioner for Youth Development, pledged the government's support and encouraged other NGOs to emulate such initiatives for the betterment of society.
Chidozie Christian, a beneficiary of the scholarship and a primary four pupil, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, describing it as a dream come true. He vowed to study diligently to achieve his aspirations, echoing the sentiments of many other beneficiaries who are now hopeful for a brighter future through education.
