FREEE Recycle Empowers Women and School Children in Oyo State Through Partnership with Access Bank and Ministry of Women Affairs
FREEE Recycle Limited has partnered with Access Bank and the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion to enhance education and empower women in Oyo State. Through this collaboration, the company has provided over 4,500 recycled tire sandals to public school students in Ibadan, improving their school attendance and health.
FREEE Recycle Limited, a leading player in recycling and manufacturing, has launched a transformative social initiative aimed at empowering women and school children in Oyo State. In collaboration with Access Bank and the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, the company has delivered key educational and entrepreneurial support to improve livelihoods and education in the region.
As part of the 2024 Limited Partnership Series, FREEE Recycle addressed critical needs in public schools by producing and distributing over 4,500 sandals made from recycled tires to students in Ibadan. Beneficiary schools include Saviour Apostolic School and Salvation Army Primary School. This initiative has led to improved school attendance, academic performance, and health outcomes for the students.
Furthermore, the partnership with the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs facilitated the distribution of 1,090 school bags to public schools in Ibadan. Women from various local governments also received entrepreneurship training and equipment, enhancing their economic prospects and ability to support their families.
