FUKashere Student Stabbed to Death in Heated Argument Over Football Match

A 300-level student of Federal University Kashere,(FUK), Gombe, Abdulssamad Musa was reportedly stabbed following an heated argument over a football match. The Victim, Musa who had been on Industrial Attachment Training, returned to sit for carryover exams when this unfortunate incident happened.

A 300-level student of Federal University Kashere,(FUK), Gombe, Abdulssamad Musa was reportedly stabbed following an heated argument over a football match. 

The State Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, confirmed the tragic event. According to Abdullahi, 18-year-old Musa sustained critical injuries during the altercation. Instead of providing immediate assistance, his neighbors fled the scene, leaving him in a bleeding state.

“It was initially an argument between students living in the same compound,” explained Abdullahi. “However, it quickly escalated into violence, leading to a fight. One of the students used a knife to stab Abdulsalam Musa, a 300-level criminology student in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences.”

Speaking on the cause of the victims death , he remarked, , “Football is supposed to be a unifier and not a cause of death,” Avoid unnecessary arguments that may lead to fight. Football promotes peace and not death. The argument ensued after they finished watching the match

The suspect reportedly fled the scene, hiowever, investigations is ongoing.
