The Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, has dismissed four lecturers over allegations of sexual harassment and examination misconduct. The decision was taken during the second Governing Council meeting held recently in Lokoja, chaired by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba.

The council commended the university management for adhering to due process during the investigation of the allegations, which reportedly involved grave breaches of ethical standards. The dismissed lecturers were found culpable after thorough deliberations and fact-finding procedures.

In its statement, the council reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for unethical behavior within the institution.
