FULafia Accounting Department Hosts Community Outreach at Azuba Centre
The Accounting Department of FULafia, led by Dr. Tijani Ahmed Ajayi, visited businesses in Lafia to offer financial management guidance and practical accounting support as part of their community service initiative.

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Accounting Department, under the leadership of Dr. Tijani Ahmed Ajayi, recently organized a community outreach program aimed at enhancing the financial literacy of local businesses in Lafia. As part of the exercise, the department visited key business locations in the town, including Ato Sahara Cassava Processing Venture in Azuba Centre.
Dr. Ajayi explained that the initiative was designed to serve both the university’s students and the local business community. "This is part of our department's service to the community," he stated. "We aim to expose students to practical accounting while helping businesses manage their finances better."
The outreach provided valuable insights into financial management practices and strengthened the relationship between the university and the local economy.
