FULAFIA Begins Post-UTME Screening Registration for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has announced the commencement of registration for the post-UTME screening for candidates seeking admission into its degree programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Requirements for Screening

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the screening exercise:

1. O' Level Requirements: Candidates must possess five (5) O' Level credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two (2) sittings.

2. UTME Score: Candidates must have a JAMB UTME score of at least 170. Specific programs require higher scores:

- Human Anatomy and Physiology: 200 and above

- Nursing and Radiography: 210 and above

- Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): 220 and above

- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS): 230 and above

1. Direct Entry: Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Merit (or Lower Credit) grade.

2. First Choice Institution: Candidates must have selected Federal University of Lafia as their first choice.

Registration Details

Registration for the post-UTME screening will open on July 29, 2024, and will close on September 13, 2024. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 for the screening exercise.

Procedure for Admission Screening

Candidates are to follow these steps to register for the screening:

1. Visit the official registration portal: (link unavailable)

2. Click on APPLY to create an account.

3. Click on Application, select Post UTME Application 2024/2025, enter your JAMB Number, Email, and desired Password, then click Proceed. The page will change to a LOGIN page.

4. On the LOGIN page, fill in the same Email and Password used in Step 3 and click Proceed. A unique ID starting with FULUG... will appear. Copy the unique ID and replace the Email with the unique ID to login.

5. Verify that the information displayed is correct, fill in any missing biodata, and save.

6. Make payment:

- Online payment: You will be redirected to Remita with five options to pay.

- Mastercard: Enter your card number, expiry date, CVV, and click on pay.

- Bank Branch: Print the invoice and proceed to any commercial bank.

- USSD: Dial the appropriate code for your bank, e.g., _737_000_Your RRR# on your phone number registered with GTB, or dial _770_000_Your RRR# on your phone number registered with FIDELITY Bank.

- Internet Banking: Select your bank from the dropdown and follow the prompts.

- E-Wallet: You can use your Paga Account.

1. Your payment must be initiated from the MIS Platform. Any RRR not generated on the portal will not be recognized by the portal, making it difficult for any student to have a successful registration. Please note.

- If you choose an online payment option, you will be immediately redirected to a page where you can continue with your registration after successful payment.

- If you choose to pay via other options, log in again to your portal account, and the system will verify the payment made, redirecting you to a page where you can continue with your registration.

1. Supply your scratch card (for either WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) and save.

2. Navigate back to the portal, refresh the page, and print out the summary of your application and payment receipts.

3. Wait for notification of admission.

Note: Federal University of Lafia Remedial and IJMB students must also participate in the post-UTME screening exercise to be admitted.
