Today, the Management of the Federal University Lokoja, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, welcomed the newly constituted 4th Governing Council, recently inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The event marks a significant milestone for the thirteen-year-old university.
The new Governing Council, chaired by Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, comprises eminent Nigerians recognized for their remarkable contributions to nation-building. During his address to the university community, Senator Ndoma-Egba emphasized the council's commitment to advancing the institution's vision and mission.
Following the formal welcome, Senator Ndoma-Egba and the council members embarked on a tour of the university's campuses, engaging with staff and students to foster collaboration and growth within the academic environment.
