The Department of Agricultural Administration (AGAD), College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has organised a Career Development Workshop for its 500-level students aimed at preparing them for a smooth transition from academic life into the professional world.

The workshop, held on June 9, 2026, at the Green Chamber, brought together final-year students and career development experts for practical sessions focused on employability skills, professional readiness, and post-graduation career planning. Attendance was made compulsory for all 500-level students, with participation tied to eligibility for final-year project defence.

The department explained that the initiative was designed to expose students to modern career realities and equip them with tools needed to compete effectively in an increasingly demanding job market.

A key feature of the programme was a hands-on session on Curriculum Vitae (CV) writing, where students were trained on how to properly structure and present their academic qualifications, skills, and experiences in a way that attracts employers.
