FUPRE Invites Applications for Sub-Degree Programmes for 2025-2026 Academic Session

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), located in Ugbomro, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced the commencement of admissions into its School of Sub-Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programmes include Pre-Degree (Basic) and Foundation (JUPEB) courses designed to prepare students for entry into the university’s undergraduate programmes and other affiliated institutions.

Programmes and Duration

• Pre-Degree/Basic Programme: September 2025 – August 2026 (one academic session)
• Foundation/JUPEB Programme: September 2025 – August 2026 (one academic session)

Pre-Degree/Basic Programme Requirements

• Five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language. Awaiting results accepted.
• Written qualifying examination.
• Non-refundable acceptance fee: ₦25,000.
• No refund of school fees upon voluntary withdrawal.

Application Fee: ₦10,000 via subdegree.fupre.edu.ng

Foundation/JUPEB Programme Requirements

• Five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language. Awaiting results not accepted.
• Written qualifying examination.
• Non-refundable acceptance fee: ₦50,000.
• Students will sit for JUPEB examination and may gain 200-level admission into FUPRE, JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria, or international institutions.
• Direct Entry JAMB form required for admission into 200-level.
• No refund of school fees upon voluntary withdrawal.

Application Fee: ₦15,000 via subdegree.fupre.edu.ng

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: Sunday, 31st August 2025 (12:00 am)
• Entrance Examination: Thursday, 4th September 2025, 9:00 am at the FUPRE ICT Building.
• Commencement of Lectures: Monday, 22nd September 2025.
