An Engineering Graduate of the Federal University of Technology Akure(FUTA), Emmanuel Anuoluwa Bamidele, has bagged PhD at University of Colorado, Myschoolnews gathered.

This was contained in a story he shared on his social media accounts (Facebook).

His Story:

I’m excited to announce that I have successfully defended my doctoral thesis, earning a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA.

Immense thanks to NASA for the collaboration and generous funding that made this achievement possible.

My doctoral research unveiled a pioneering study on a fast, cost-effective, and energy-efficient metal processing technique at room temperature, set to revolutionize the future of additive manufacturing of metals with its rapid and sustainable processing capabilities.

Looking back at my long academic journey, I am profoundly grateful for the invaluable knowledge and experiences gained to obtain my Bachelor of Engineering at the Federal University of Technology Akure in 2015, my Master of Technology from the University of Johannesburg in 2019, my Master of Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021, and now doctor of philosophy from the same university.

A heartfelt thank you to these institutions, my past academic advisors, and everyone who has been part of this incredible journey.

I especially appreciate my doctoral advisor, doctoral committee, family, mentors, friends, colleagues and acquaintances who have stood by me throughout this journey. Excitedly looking forward to the next chapter and the exciting opportunities that await in my professional career!
