A former student of the Federal University of Technology Akure, Abdullahi Saka, has attracted widespread attention following his rise from a First Class graduate in Quantity Surveying to a Professor at the University of Westminster within a relatively short period.

Saka graduated from FUTA in 2016 with a First Class degree in Quantity Surveying before proceeding to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he earned a PhD in Construction in 2021.

Following the completion of his doctoral studies, he advanced steadily within the academic system in the United Kingdom. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University before joining the University of Westminster as a Reader (Associate Professor) in 2024.
