The workshop featured practical, hands-on sessions that introduced participants to the fundamentals of LaTeX, mathematical typesetting, and standard techniques for producing structured and professionally formatted documents. Participants were guided through the process of creating clear, accurate, and publication-ready materials suitable for research, technical writing, and academic presentations.
Organisers noted that the initiative aligns with FUTA LISA’s broader objective of promoting capacity building, strengthening digital competencies, and supporting academic excellence within the university community.

The training also provided participants with practical exposure to tools widely used in scientific and technical documentation, reinforcing the importance of digital skills in modern research environments.
