FUTMINNA Issues Clarification on JAMB Admission Process
FUTMINNA clarifies JAMB's admission process, urging aspirants to monitor CAPS for updates.
The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has informed anxious aspirants about the ongoing admission process. According to the institution, the university has sent proposed admissions to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for further processing. The admissions will be released in batches by JAMB through its CAPS platform.
FUTMINNA outlined its collaboration with JAMB in the following steps:
1. FUTMINNA conducts the UPASE screening and clearance for aspirants.
2. Cleared candidates are proposed for admission and forwarded to JAMB.
3. JAMB processes the admissions based on uploaded O'Level results, and for Direct Entry (DE) candidates, verified A'Level results.
JAMB will issue admission notifications in three stages:
1. Not Admitted – indicating no admission has been offered yet.
2. Admission in Progress – meaning the process is ongoing.
3. Congratulations, You Have Been Given Admission! – confirming the candidate's admission status.
Additionally, FUTMINNA emphasized that JAMB does not change courses; all admissions are based on the university’s recommendations. It’s also crucial for aspirants to ensure accurate O'Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
Aspirants facing challenges or with questions are encouraged to seek assistance, while staying calm as the process unfolds in batches. Regularly monitoring JAMB CAPS for updates is also advised.
