UNIABUJA Opens Change of Course Window for 2024/2025 Admission

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced a change of course window for candidates who applied for the 2024/2025 academic session but could not secure admission due to limited slots in their preferred programs. This announcement, released by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, provides an opportunity for candidates to transfer to other listed programs.

Candidates are advised to visit the nearest JAMB CBT Center or JAMB Office to process the course change on their JAMB portal. Subsequently, they are required to update the new course selection on the university portal. The affected candidates include those initially applying for competitive courses such as Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, and Computer Science.

Available courses for transfer include programs like Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Urban and Regional Planning, Industrial Design, Mathematics Education, and more. For students previously seeking admission into Engineering, Architecture, Journalism, Economics, and Business-related courses, similar alternative programs have been listed.

The university emphasizes that only candidates adhering to this directive will be considered for admission. The window for the change of course will close on Monday, December 16, 2024.
