Gombe State Government to Establish State-of-the-Art Artificial Insemination Center at Gombe State University

Gombe State University has received approval to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Insemination (AI) and Breed Multiplication Center within its Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture.

The initiative, directed by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, aims to enhance academic excellence, drive research and innovation, boost local livestock productivity, and support agricultural development policies.

The center will serve as a regional hub for livestock research and breeding, positioning Gombe State as a leader in breeding technology and capacity building for farmers and researchers .
