Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has urged the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Gombe State University branch, to delay its planned strike.

Represented by Professor Ibrahim Njodi, the Secretary to the State Government, Yahaya pledged N947,669,909.13 to address ASUU’s demands, including Earned Academic Allowances and promotion arrears for 2020 to 2023.
