Gombe State University Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Holds 6th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Gombe State University (GSU) recently held its 6th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the graduating class of 2025.
The event took place on July 3, 2025, at the Kadir Rasheed Hall, and was attended by distinguished guests, faculty members, professional bodies, and families of the inductees.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students, as they were administered the Pharmacist's Oath by the representative of the Registrar, Pharm. Gwa Aondoseer Emmanuel. This symbolic act officially transitioned the students into professional practice.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, congratulated the graduating students and admonished them to make the university proud as they apply their knowledge and skills in their diverse areas of practice. He emphasized that the graduates are "Primus Inter Pares" - first among their equals.
The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Abdulkadir Umar Zezi, commended the graduates for their dedication and resilience throughout their academic journey. The event highlighted the university's commitment to producing well-trained, competent, and ethical pharmacists for Nigeria and beyond.
