The university emphasized that returning these excess funds is "paramount" to avoid administrative complications. Students are further advised to print their payment receipts after the transaction and submit them to the Bursary Department for formal acknowledgement and documentation.

The Dean’s office warned that failure to comply with this directive within the stipulated timeframe will attract disciplinary action. This move aims to rectify the recent "double refund" or overpayment issues that have impacted students across several batches of the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
