Myschoolnews reports to achieve this, the university is to adopt hybrid teaching and learning methods that encourage physical and virtual learning.
Correspondent, Godwin Umeh reports that the Director of ICT of the University, Mr. Chinedu Chibuzo who announced this during a workshop for the Dean’s and Coordinators of certificate programmes being introduced by the University said regular training would be organised for workers on the hybrid teaching and learning.
He explained that the new method encourages better students engagement, variability of learning,
the flexibility of teachers, personalization and connections.
The Director urged the lecturers to show greater interest in online presence by posting their works on
such social sites as YouTube, Udemy or Coursera to attract international attention and revenue.
In their remarks, the Deans and leaders of the faculties commended the management for the initiative
and praised their commitment to the realisation of the project.
