Governing Council Appoints Jasper Anunike as Substantive Bursar of Federal Polytechnic Oko
The 12th Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Oko, led by Senator Engr. Dr. Barnabas Gemade, has officially appointed Mr. Jasper Ugochukwu Anunike as the institution's substantive Bursar.
The appointment was formalized during a Council meeting on February 12, 2026, where Senator Gemade presented the appointment letter to Mr. Anunike. The Council Chairman noted that the selection was the result of a "transparent and credible interview process" conducted in strict adherence to the Polytechnic Act and guidelines set by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Prior to this elevation, Mr. Anunike served as the Chief Accountant in charge of the Disbursement Unit within the Polytechnic’s Bursary Division. In that role, he was instrumental in aligning the institution’s finances with:
