Governor Oyebanji Appoints FUTA's Professor Fasakin as Chairman of Ekiti State Polytechnic Governing Council

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has announced the appointment of Professor Adedayo Emmanuel Fasakin, a distinguished Professor of Fishery from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), as the Chairman of the Governing Council for the State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti.

Professor Fasakin's appointment comes with a wealth of experience in academia, having previously served in various leadership roles at FUTA, including Dean of Students Affairs, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, and Acting Vice Chancellor. He also served as the Pioneer Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State. His extensive background in education and leadership positions him well to guide the State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, towards excellence and innovation.

Joining Professor Fasakin on the Governing Council are Mr. John Kehinde Omodara, Mr. Kayode Bamigboye, Dr. Olushina Tunde Ajayi, and Prof. Simi Odeyinka.

The newly appointed members of the Governing Council will be officially inaugurated by Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Executive Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, starting at 10:00 am prompt.
