GSU VC Meets Students Leaders: Emphasis on Campus Facility Preservation

On the 17th of October 2023, the Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University, Prof. Aliyu Usman El-nafaty OFR, convened an official meeting with the Student Union Leaders.

This meeting, which took place in the University Senate Chamber, aimed to address issues related to the behavior of students on campus and the preservation of campus facilities.

Key Points Discussed:

Facility Misuse: Prof. Aliyu Usman El-nafaty expressed concern about the misuse of campus facilities, particularly in the male hostels and lecture theaters. Instances of damages and theft have been reported, and the Vice-Chancellor urged the student leaders to address these concerns among their peers.

Report Suspected Incidents: The Vice-Chancellor encouraged students to report any suspected cases of damage and theft. By doing so, they can help maintain a safe and conducive environment for learning and living.

Preservation of Appliances: Students were also urged to take responsibility for preserving the various appliances and equipment installed on campus. Protecting these resources will contribute to a better campus experience for all.
