House of Representatives Investigates Federal University of Dutsin-Ma Leadership Over Allegations
The investigation follows a complaint lodged by Shehu Abubakar Tadda, who criticized Professor Bichi’s leadership style

The House of Representatives has launched an investigation into Professor Armaya'u Hamisu Bichi, Chairman of the Federal University of Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, over allegations of inadequate leadership.
The investigation follows a complaint lodged by Shehu Abubakar Tadda, who criticized Professor Bichi’s leadership style. The committee overseeing public complaints has summoned Professor Bichi to appear before them on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The House of Representatives has stated that the investigation will proceed regardless of Professor Bichi’s attendance. The inquiry is conducted under Sections 88 and 89 of the Nigerian Constitution, which grant the legislature the authority to investigate matters concerning public interest.
The committee has also requested that Shehu Abubakar Tadda attend the proceedings.
