The West African Youth Peace Mission (WAYPEM) and World Peace and Development Mission on Friday December 8, 2023 presented the Acting Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Professor Okechuku Onuchuku with an award of Excellence, Peace and Economic Recovery.

The Certificate of Excellence Peace Prize is in recognition of his steering role in peace security and economic recovery.

The award was received by the Associate Dean Postgraduate School Professor Chibuzor Nwobueze on behalf of the Acting Vice Chancellor during the lunching of fifty billion dollars world youth peace centre, peace security and economic summit fund raising/award dinner which held at the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development Central Business District opposite Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters Abuja.
