IBBUL VC Calls on Advocacy Groups to Address Moral Values, Street Hawking in Fight Against Girl-Child Harassment

The Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, has urged advocacy groups to go beyond campaigns on harassment and focus on addressing moral values, modest dressing, and the rising trend of underage girls engaged in street hawking.

Professor Sulaiman made this call during a courtesy visit from the Lapai Women Enlightenment Forum (LAWEF).

Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman was appointed as the 6th substantive Vice Chancellor of IBBUL in February 2025, bringing his wealth of experience and administrative skills to the role. The university aims to provide affordable quality education, conduct innovative research, and attract scholars to help transform the institution into a world-class university.
