Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai Gets NUC Approval for New Undergraduate Programmes

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of two new undergraduate programmes at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State.

According to a letter signed by A. Abubakar M. Girei, Ag. Director Academic Planning, on behalf of the Acting Executive Secretary, Chris J. Maiyaki, the approved programmes are:

1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

RECOMMENDED FOR YOU: Prof. Theresa Ugonwa Okafor Appointed Head of Staff Teaching and Pedagogy Support at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

2. LL.B. Law

The programmes, which will be run in the full-time mode, have been approved to commence in the 2024/2025 academic session. The university has been enjoined to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes.

The NUC has also emphasized that the approval does not cover the part-time mode of delivery of the programmes, and any change in the programme titles and nomenclatures will require further approval from the Commission.
