IG Aguowo Foundation Launches Scholarship Program for 200 Indigent Students
The scholarships are available to students in Junior Secondary School (JS1 to JS3), Senior Secondary School (SS1 to SS3), and various tertiary institutions, including universities, colleges of education, polytechnics, and nursing schools.
The IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation has launched its 2024 scholarship program, aiming to support 200 additional indigent and talented students across Nigeria. Applications are open from Monday, June 3, to Friday, June 28, 2024.
During a press conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat in Awka, Anambra State, Ms. Peace Chukwu, the executive secretary of the foundation, announced that the initiative currently supports 350 beneficiaries. The new scholarships will bring the total number of supported students to 550 by the end of the year.
