Ilesa Varsity, Bells University, Landmark University Lauded for Offering Free Tuition Fees and Courses

Bishop Seun Adeoye, General Overseer of Sufficient Grace and Truth International Ministries, has praised the University of Ilesa (UNILESA) in Osun State for offering all 18 of its education courses tuition-free.

The General Overseer of Sufficient Grace and Truth International Ministries, Bishop Seun Adeoye, has commended the management of the newly established University of Ilesa (UNILESA) in Osun State for offering all 18 of its education courses tuition-free. In a statement made in Okinni, Osun State, Bishop Adeoye also praised Bells University of Technology in Otta, Ogun State, and Landmark University in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, for their longstanding commitment to providing tuition-free courses in agriculture.

Bishop Adeoye described the announcement from UNILESA as “cheering news” for education advocates, emphasizing that the initiative will greatly benefit prospective students. He noted that the free education policy allows students to pursue their degrees without the burden of tuition fees from the start to graduation.

“I wish to commend the three institutions for their generosity and for giving back to society. These efforts will definitely encourage our youth to embark on education and agriculture courses,” he stated. He also urged parents to support their children in studying these vital fields, highlighting the growing demand for professionals in education and agriculture as Nigeria's population increases.

As the spokesman for the World Bishops Council (WBC) in Africa, Bishop Adeoye called on other tertiary institutions in Nigeria to follow the examples set by UNILESA, Bells, and Landmark universities. He stressed the importance of financial assistance for parents, many of whom struggle to fund their children’s education.
