IMAP Rector Hands Over 200-Room Hostel Construction Site to Contractors

The Acting Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, Dr. Nurudeen Muazu Maifata, has officially handed over the construction site for a new 200-room-capacity hostel to the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Transport. This marks a significant stride in the institution's ongoing development, driven by the efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Maifata administration.

During the handover ceremony, which took place today, Dr. Maifata personally took the contractors and supervisors on a tour of the proposed site, urging them to expedite construction while maintaining the highest standards of quality as per the approved specifications. He expressed gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule, the Visitor to the Polytechnic, for his continuous support and developmental strides at IMAP.

Mr. Richard Embugu, the supervisor of the project, confirmed that the construction, which is expected to be completed within four months, would adhere to the government's commitment to quality and timely delivery.

The Rector was accompanied by key members of his administration, including the Polytechnic's Bursar, Zainab Dalhatu; Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, Mukhtar Wakeel; and the Director of Physical Planning, Ismaila Mukailu, among others.

This development underscores IMAP’s commitment to enhancing student welfare and infrastructure.
