The boys from Idah Local Government Area of the state, found favour from the institute after the picture of their creations went viral on social media.

The Executive Director of the NKFI, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin on Tues received the talents in his office.

He disclosed that he management of the institute has offered them full scholarship to study Mechatronics, Welding and Fabrication, and Electrical/Electronic Technology respectively.

“It is worthy to note that one of these young men said he has been dreaming of attending our Institute for the last 2 years but for lack of sponsorship, he forgot about it . It is therefore with great pleasure and honour that the management of this great institute is awarding them full schoolarship to study a 2 years National Innovative Diploma program in Mechatronics, Welding and Fabrication, Electrical/Electronic Technology, with the hope that they will have the enabling environment to become great.

“I am using this medium to appeal to good spirited individuals to kindly assist them with hostel accommodation as our institute does not have one for now,” he said.

He further thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for giving technical and vocational education premium attention in Kogi State.

“Without him NKFI would have long been grounded,” he added.
