JAMB Commences 2024 UTME Registration

Registration, which began on January 15th, will run until February 26th, 2024. The 2024 Mock-UTME is scheduled for March 7th, with the main UTME set to take place from April 19th to 29th.

JAMB Commences 2024 UTME Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially started the registration process for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Registration, which began on January 15th, will run until February 26th, 2024. The 2024 Mock-UTME is scheduled for March 7th, with the main UTME set to take place from April 19th to 29th.

Direct Entry (DE) application document sales and E-pin vending will commence on February 28th and conclude on March 28th, 2024. Candidates are urged to print their examination slips starting April 10th, 2024.

JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, stated that these dates resulted from recommendations made during a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat in November 2023.

The registration process for UTME and DE remains cashless to prevent extortion. JAMB will collect and remit all approved charges, including UTME registration fees, to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers. The fee breakdown includes N3,500 for UTME/DE form, N700 for registration service charge, N1,500 for CBT service charge for MOCK/UTME, and N500 for bank charges. Candidates not sitting for the mock will pay N6,200, while those participating will pay N7,700.
