JAMB releases list of top 10 universities with illegal admissions

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has in there recent meeting released the list of top Universities with the highest record illegal admissions, Myschoolnews.ng report. 

The board released the names in Abuja on Thursday, July 21, in a statistic that covered a four-year period (2017-2020).
According to the board, a total of 58,698 fake admissions were conducted by the 10 institutions during the period under review.

The universities are; 

  1. Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, with 20,162 illegal admissions,
  2. University of Jos, with 7,600 illegal admissions,
  3. Benue State University, with 6,171 illegal admissions,
  4. University of Nigeria, Nsukka with 5,457 illegal admissions,
  5. Kwara State University, with 5,070 illegal admissions,
  6. University, with 3,432 illegal admissions,
  7. Alex Ekueme University, with 2,902 illegal admissions,
  8. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, with 2,795 illegal admissions,
  9. Olabisi Onabanjo University, with 2,586 illegal admissions,
  10. University of Calabar, with 2,523 illegal admissions.

Covenant University was crowned as the best university that adheres to JAMB's admission requirements.
