A committee comprising the Commissioner for Higher Education and the Commissioner for Basic Education has been tasked with overseeing the transition and ensuring that the academic progress of enrolled students is not disrupted.

In addition to the university acquisition, the Council also approved the purchase of 20 Combined Harvesters worth N1.2 billion. This agricultural investment aligns with the state government's 12-point agenda, led by Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, aimed at improving food production and job creation.
